How Should You Enjoy Blogging – Just Like Sex
warning : this is not a dirty post and it is not about porn. i will go clean ( as much as i can help it ). Rest assure, unless you are really hoping that I write about it.
More often when it comes to blogging, many of us tend to restrict ourselves with so many limitations that we end up not enjoying one bit of the blogging process. Shouldn’t blogging be fun and rewarding? What happen with the sort of passion we initially possessed during the start? Somehow, it dies off through time and in the end, our content eventually loses its ‘humane’ touch. Eventually, not only do you not get to enjoy writing anymore, you subsequently jeopardize the exertion to set up your blog that you have effortlessly built from scratch.
Therefore, how can we enjoy blogging just like sex?
We enjoy because we tend to exert our focus and attention solely onto what we take pleasure in doing. Just like sex, we want nothing more than to enjoy every bit of moment with it. When it comes to writing, it simply relates. J.K. Rowling would never have completed 7 series of Harry Potter if she hates writing about wizards and magic. Stephanie Meyer will never have been able to come up with a fantastic series of Twilight if she hasn’t had posses an utmost interest about vampires and werewolves. Therefore, as blogger, don’t you understand how significant it will be for you to write on something you are fond about? Only when you are able to truly connect with what you can relate, will you be able come up with a piece that is truly remarkable. Will you be able to witness a ray of sparkles with twinkling background effects? Inevitably.
We enjoy because we couldn’t be bothered with what the world really has to say about it. Just like sex, we emerged ourselves deeply into it without a care in the world. As you give your heart out fully to your partner, nothing can even break the chemistry that is eventually happening. Therefore, just like blogging and writing. Most often time, I have come across many bloggers who were so afraid to write on what they care about. They are afraid of how they would be judged. They are afraid of what others would comment. Such restrictions will only bar you from possibly what you ought to enjoy writing. So what if people think you are wrong? So what if others think that you shouldn’t be writing about this. So what if others think that you write rubbishy and utterly no sense of doing so? I am not saying that their comments and thoughts do not matter but it shouldn’t be a reason why you should not write about it. Instead, it is only right for you to accept but not take it personally. Besides, in this world we are living in, everyone has the freedom to think and write. If they could judge you based on their beliefs, then there is absolutely no wrong for you to write what you personally believe in too.
We enjoy because we get to express ourselves whole heartedly. Just like sex, as we grow to love someone for whom they are and what they are, sex is inevitably one way of saying “I love you – you are safe with me”. Self expression is our creator’s gift to all. Inevitably, everyone would have something to say about and by expressing ourselves in many different forms; we get to communicate variably to anyone that may be of concerned. Writing and blogging as well is one way of doing so. Most often, we tend to find it hard to express how we feel verbally as I believe certain exertions requires certain amount of length and description to finally interpret what one have to say. When you write, you have an entire working pad available for you. You get to focus and pour your feelings out without having to worry that you will eventually be interrupted. Poems and quotes are just some of the more meaningful writings that are able to pen down the feelings of its author.
Truly, one can only enjoy writing when they are not limited by restrictions and limitations. When we are set by margins, there are eventually so many setbacks we have to consider when we blog. We tend to care unnecessarily of which in the end, we lose out the most. If you do not enjoy what you are about to write on, your content will show and eventually your readers will be able to tell. It is a vicious cycle eventually that starts out from you yourself. You set the flow and you will be dealt with what you have eventually come up with. Therefore, when matters roll for the worst, blame no one but eventually yourself. When sex isn’t pleasant, blame not your partner, but yourself
.

This post is very inspiring! I agree, blogging should be entertaining and rewarding. Great analogy how you can compare enjoyment of it with sex. The passion of blogging and writing dies off because now everyone only wants to make money, they lose sight of what really important in blogging. I like what you said “Only when you are able to truly connect with what you can relate, will you be able come up with a piece that is truly remarkable.”
@Justin
thank you for your comments
it is true that people or bloggers to be exact are eventually too caught up with just making money online. who doesn’t? it is truly very enticing to just think about getting the ‘greens’ but definitely, value in what you do.. and money will eventually present itself.
cheers
Thanks for sharing this Febap. I really like how you compared it to sex. Blogging can really be boring if you don’t like what you are doing. So you need to have passion in everything that you do if you want to enjoy it.
Kind regards,
Gary
@ Gary
you are welcome and i am glad that you have enjoyed reading. it certainly will be…boring and the act of ‘giving up’ will eventually come its way.
therefore, enjoy what you do… not only blogging .
cheers
I think you kept that as clean you can get it, but to follow up on the article. I want to say passion is the cattle that pulls the wagon. Meaning you must be will to give yourself to the work that’s in front of you.
Comparing sex and blogging was a excellent idea that I think never crossed my mind. So if people put enough passion into their blogging versus thier sex life..then we should see a big spike in blog traffic and successful bloggers.

blogging isn’t a money making ‘platform’.. however it will be once you have develop a sustainable ground for it which makes up of bloggers putting in value and effort during the initial start..
Interesting analogy. But I agree. You should do what you love to do, which will make it more… enjoyable

This is a great comparison of blogging and sex. If you love what you are doing you will put your all into it and you will work your hardest on it. You will also never get bored of it.
