concentration_makemoneyonlineWhen it comes to making money online from your internet business or blog, putting yourself in a concentrated state will enable you to perform much more efficiently. The reason why most of the new internet marketers fail to perform positively is due to the lack of focus. When it comes to blogging, learning to keep your contents updated and fresh is a crucial part in maintaining its performances. Therefore, instead of just rambling randomly on your articles and providing them with worthless content, you should learn to concentrate better when writing better posts.

Here are inevitably 10 ways you can consider performing to eliminate distractions when writing.

Having the right mindset

Updating contents and keeping your blog fresh is not entirely a job. You shouldn’t literally burden yourself when it comes to writing articles for your blog. It is either you switch to a much more positive mindset or reconsider whether blogging is entirely suitable for you. Blogging should be enjoyable no matter what the circumstances. This is very crucial in providing you with the right push of building a better blog.

Turn it off!

Nope, I don’t mean your computer because it is literally what you will need to write or type. I am referring to the internet and basically online applications such as instant messengers, e-mails, social networking sites or anything that is relatively relevant. Like it or not, you will be subconsciously drawn to do something else on the internet whenever a notification pops out. Therefore, turn everything off and leave only what is necessary. When I mean necessary, I really meant only Words.

Suit your environment with your current condition

The next big step to take when learning to concentrate on writing is to provide an environment that suits your current condition. Getting your atmosphere ready will inevitably provide you with much more comfortable surroundings. You can do so by eliminating most of the workspace clutter that may be lying around. This are called as visual distractions and it is best to get it off sight. An improved working space should adequately be just an empty desk. I really mean it. With surrounding such as that, there is practically nothing else you can possibly do then to work.

Handling situations

At times, getting the appropriate surrounding to work on may be proof to be in vain. When circumstances such as this happen, you should know how to handle it accordingly. Some example as such is having to concentrate in a noisy atmosphere. When conditions such as this arise, you can always get an ear plug or headphones ready. Block the noise off whenever possible and you are inevitably minimizing your surrounding’s distraction.

Keep it rolling

As you concentrate and write continuously, you are subsequently keeping the rhythm flowing. Like it or not, when you trigger such atmosphere, you will not stop writing. Your thoughts will be filled with relevant points and topics to continue writing. Clear your mind off of any unrelated subjects and concentrate only on writing what is relevant.

Letting others know about it

Putting up a DND sign or giving people a heads up on what you are doing is a good way of eliminating any unwanted interference. Let them know that you need to focus and get your work done before handling others.

Go full screen and maximize only what is necessary

Switch any of your writing application to full screen and better yet have it completely fill up the computer screen. You can always maximize your concentration by working on minimal word programs. The lesser you are distracted, the better it will be to focus on your original task. Block out anything else that is unnecessary.

Set a goal to accomplish

Setting a goal to successfully accomplish can enable you to focus better to what you have to do. However, keep it realistic. Don’t expect yourself to write up to 50 quality articles within 2 hours. That will be utterly impossible. Setting goals are effective when it comes to making sure that you get to perform evidently what is needed.

Treat yourself appropriately

Treating yourself after certain accomplished task will enable you to look forward on what is coming ahead. However, do prevent yourself from getting too excited over your little treat. Instead of giving yourself a push to concentrate and perform better, you may jeopardize your effort when you divert your attention to something else.

Give yourself a break

Have some time off after a long period of concentrating. As they always say, too much of something will do you no good. Give yourself some breather to clear your mind off from what you have been concentrating on so far. As you continue to work later on, you will have a fresher mind to start with and begin onto another set of roll.

    Great post!

Whenever I am about to start writing, I put Skype on “Do Not Disturb” (turns off message alerts), close my email and Twitter, and shut my door tight. I then open up WordPress and get to writing my post.

Afterwards, if there is still enough quite and room in my brain, I go ahead and write again. If you have enough time that you can use to write great content, then use it.

    Once again, great post!

not many perform the way as you do because not many actually do realize the sort of distraction that they are facing… and comes at the end of the day, they question why they could never get matters done..

Finding your flow is very important and can strike at anytime which is why I always have a pen & paper or notepad open.

I don’t try to force myself to write; rather, when I get the spark, I just go at it.

I think it’s best that everyone finds what time they write to their full extent, sit down and brainstorm, when the time is right, go for it.

      hello Murlu,
      thanks for commenting.
Indeed, most often we can’t really force our head to think. Inevitably, when there is no idea at that moment, it really simple means no.
but our minds work in a very unique way. Yes as you mention, as human we so often times received this sort of instant spark. It may be the silliest idea but it could turn out to be the best.
I have heard that some even extract ideas from dreams. As you mentioned, having a pen or paper always readily by your side is important when such spark arises.

      cheers
      have a nice day =)
